The 2010 FLC Ladies Dessert is fast approaching. This year the dessert is scheduled Monday, December 6th. The event runs 6:30 p.m to 8:00 p.m. with doors opening for seating and fellowship at 6:00 p.m.
At the moment we still need 3 more hostesses for tables. Each hostess will provide the table settings, linens and desserts for her table along with one small dessert for the men to enjoy that evening. The design, decorations, food, etc. can be as simple or elegant as you choose. There are only 2 requirements - no paper linens and HAVE FUN. If you check the photos below and look at the older posts you will see last year was an amazing event.

2010 LADIES DESSERT
The FLC Ladies Dessert is a fundraiser to benefit the church benevolence fund and open to all ladies age 13 and up. Last year we had 11 table hostesses and hope to grow larger every year. Tickets are on a reserved basis and the cost is a $15 or more grocery gift card for each seat. Last year we raised over $1,200 for the church to help families in our congregation and community.
As a hostess you have a chance to invite up to 7 guests for your table. On November 6, 2010 we will offer any unreserved seats for sale to the church. This event is not limited to church members. You may invite family, friends, co-workers, etc.

RAFFLED QUILTS
As an added bonus that evening one of our members donated two hand made quilts that were raffled. Raffle tickets were $2 each and all sales of the raffle tickets were also donated to the church. We'll be doing this again in 2010 so make sure to bring your money or checkbook. The ladies that won were thrilled. Everyone also had a chance to win handmade door prizes. Don't miss this in 2010.
MUSIC & PICTURES
The evening included some amazing music coordinated by Tonja as well as a bench in front of the Christmas trees for the laldies to take photo's with friends and family.
THE GUYS DID GREAT
The men of FLC were great. They came out not just to help with the music but served coffee most of the evening, helped clean up and even sold raffle tickets.
